Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 May 2026
The short version: SignalScope is self-hosted software. We never touch your broadcast audio, recordings or station data — those stay on your servers under your control. This policy covers only the personal information you share with us through this website, by email, or during a sales / support conversation.

1. Who we are

SignalScope is a software product developed and supported by a UK-based small team. For the purposes of UK GDPR, the data controller is the proprietor of signalscope.site, contactable at:

7. Cookies

This website uses only the minimum cookies required:

You can block these cookies in your browser settings; the site remains fully functional without them.

8. The SignalScope product itself

SignalScope, Logger and Director are self-hosted on your own infrastructure. Once installed, the software runs on your servers, processes your audio locally, and stores recordings and metadata on your disks. We have no access to that data and cannot view it. The only product-side data we may ever see is licence-activation metadata (your licence key, the host machine's identifier and version number) — used solely to validate that your licence is active.

9. International transfers

Most processors we use are based in the EU or UK. Where data is transferred outside the UK / EEA (notably Google Analytics), it is subject to Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards under UK GDPR Article 46.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. For significant changes, we will notify newsletter subscribers and active customers by email.
